Professional Experience:
Independent Museum Professional and Educator. I teach art history, art appreciation, and develop curriculum in a variety of college-level settings. I enjoy facilitating active learning experiences for K-12 teachers that create connective learning opportunities between the visual arts and core curriculum areas. I also work with museums to create and execute innovative exhibition and program evaluation.
My Passion:
I am passionate about facilitating learning experiences around the visual arts for adults, children, and anyone in between! I love the moment when students connect with a work of art in a new way or deepen their understanding of an old favorite.
Hobbies:
Reading, being in nature (Mammoth, Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park, and Sequoia National Park are my favorites), visiting art museums
