My Passion:
I was introduced to the concept of Adult Degree Completion in 1983 while attending a national Music Educators Conference in Chicago. My fascination with this idea of working with adults who had completed part of their degree and wanted/needed to complete in a program just for working adults led me to change from a Ph.D. program in Music Education at Vanderbilt University to an Ed.D. program in Adult and Continuing Education at Columbia University. My own experience in this special program led to many of my beliefs on how to serve the adult learner.
Hobbies:
Choir directing for my church, traveling (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Chile, Brazil, Ghana, and Kenya), watching and attending Kansas City Chiefs football games, movies with my wife, activities with and for my grandkids.
