My Passion:
My teaching style involves learning through interaction, encourages critical thinking and lively discussion which is of key importance in enhancing the student-clinician’s skills in mastering approaches to theoretical orientations and varied techniques as it pertains to promoting therapeutic skills. The class discussion typically consists of asking students to respond to challenging questions but also experience the knowledge and skills via role playing and discussion. I perceive my teaching role as a facilitator guiding the discussion to a logical and learned conclusion, to enhance insight into information about problem-specific issues and expect the student-clinician to have alternatives to problem solving into understanding and processing each individual client’s problems.
